Renault e.dams presents 2017/18 livery

Renault e.dams has presented its livery for the 2017/18 Formula E season, as it bids to claim its fourth straight Teams' title.

Wednesday, September 27, 2017 (1:17 pm)

Renault e.dams has not been beaten to the crown since the creation of the category in 2014, and has taken 15 wins in the series' 33-race history.

The outfit's Z.E.17 will run in a tweaked scheme to its predecessor, with yellow strips replaced by white, as the overall blue livery is retained.

2015/16 champion Sébastien Buemi and Nicolas Prost will continue to form the driver line-up.

"For the past forty years, being an engine supplier has been the common thread in Renault's motor racing involvement, in Formula 1 and now in Formula E," said Renault chief Cyril Abiteboul.

"As the only constructor currently implicated in both disciplines, Renault has developed multiple synergies between the two programmes.

"I believe that our supremacy in Formula E is due in large part to the expertise developed for Formula 1 since the arrival of the hybrid systems in 2009.

"These synergies are also reflected in the image: the new Renault e.dams livery foreshadows the evolution of our identity in Formula 1 for the 2018 season."

Formula E pre-season testing will begin in Valencia next week, ahead of December's opening round in Hong Kong.
